Adam Lambert…

…is perfect.

I just wanted to say that.

How to Push My Buttons: The Voice, The Season Finale

No analysis here, the votes are in and it’s been decided. Whatever happens, happens.

I’m just gonna focus on Dia tonight because I really want her to win but honestly, it’s anyone’s win….k, but for real, I’ll be a little pissed if Vicci wins because I feel like she rode on the spectacle of her stage sets (drums, a bunch of warrior baby-kids flipping around, Cee Lo’s red Mohawk, etc)

I will simply make some random observations:

Xtina finally got rid of the crimps and went with some waves instead…she still looks a little cheap but it’s an improvement.

Love the glittery lace overlay on Dia’s dress…gosh, she even LOOKS like a winner.

Didn’t notice the unsightly sweat stains on Adam’s armpits the first time when he raised his arms the moment Javier took his hat off…he’s still sexy as hell though…

Wow, Stevie Nicks is one well-preserved lady. I love how she directed Javier throughout the whole song with her very intricate hand movements…

Diiiiiia’s part!!!!!!!

“This is someone who has a vision,” Blake says. Hell yes.

Blake might have a little crush on her…she reminds him of his wife…?

Dia and Miranda’s performance of “The House that Built Me” was beautiful.

Her hair…..wow. I didn’t realize how beautiful she would look if her hair was even shorter….

Miranda was rocking the hair feathers….a little out of place honestly, considering how straight and simple that dress was.  I feel like feathers in the hair only go with ensembles that are either really funky or really bohemian.

I never realized how wonderful this song was until Dia was on it. I saw Miranda’s performance at the Grammys and I thought it was great but Dia’s collaboration was truly a serious upgrade.

I think she got a little emotional when Blake said she was family because she left the stage so quickly…

Oh. My. God..the announcement…I’m dying right now…

“Ladies and Gentlemen, THIS IS IT,” Carson says….

The top two were within 2% of each other…hmmm reminds me that I have to study for my stats/comm exam right now…

Dia is called first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU, JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Javier is called second. Expected. He was an early favorite and I know I predicted that he could win…

They both had the best stories…oh gosh, who is it, SAY IT ALREADY, CARSON!!!!

Dia was number one on iTunes….TWICE.

Fuck…Javier won…..whatever.

Well he was the true underdog here. Dia has had records out along with a record deal. And again, NUMBER ONE ON ITUNES TWICE, BITCH. She doesn’t need this show really….I’m getting bitter now…

Now I’m thinking, what if they read it wrong like on the BET Awards and it’s really Dia?

Whatever.  Dia Frampton is the Adam Lambert of this season of “The Voice”. She went to #1 on iTunes—TWICE!!!!!! I can’t say that enough because that is a record that goes down in some kind of history which will guarantee her superstar status for the rest of her career.

It really doesn’t matter that she didn’t win. The point is that she has received the recognition she deserves and now, she will be unstoppable. Mission accomplished.

How to Push My Buttons: The Voice, Live Round 3

The Semi-finals: The Elite 8 compete tonight; I really don’t care who makes it as long as Dia makes it to the finals or they at least give a damn good reason why she shouldn’t over Xenia…

Judge images:

Xtina: Went a little nuts with the crimping but I like the commitment to the look

Ceelo has two watches on….Love it. He has a tattoo at the back of his bald head…I don’t know about that…

Adam’s showing off his tats…sexy

Blake…um, well, he showed up…crazy, bug-eyes and all.

Team Cee Lo Vote:

America’s Save: Vicci Martinez.  I agree, she did amazing last night…but I really thought it would be Nakia because he has gotten so much attention outside of the show. Cee Lo saves him; I guess he figured someone with that much attention was worth keeping around….or at least the producers figured that.

Team Adam Vote…this was a little suspenseful for me:

Love the blue dress on Casey and the earrings.  I don’t know about the whole mid-hi boots with the dress; this is a look Taylor Swift usually rocks pretty well but on Casey it looks a little awkward.

Javier gets America’s save of course.  I’m glad America did not buy the whole “Dead Mommy” storyline from Jeff…it gets so freaking old.

Casey got into arguments with Adam???? I like her even more now.

Adam’s Choice: “I came here thinking I was gonna pick you Jeff and something happened and I gotta go with Casey” YES!

Frenchie Davis singing Like a Prayer by Madonna

Xtina: “Yes, yes, yes, yes,”…to over-singing the song….hope that works out for her. It really was a fantastic song choice by Xtina.

Image: The choir dancers were brilliant I loved her makeup and the leggings.

Performance: I really appreciate that she did not over sing the song. Her run was actually really tasteful and the adlibbing at the end fit the song perfectly. Really well done.

Nakia singing “Whaddaya Want from Me” by Adam Lambert

Image: I like that he’s sitting at a piano. I’m not feelin’ the white suit.

Performance: the kicking the chair over…again sooo dramatic with this one…I liked when he got up and worked the stage though. Overall, this is not a performance I’m gonna remember.

Adam Levine doesn’t know Adam Lambert???? Weird…that song went to number one and everything… plus, Adam Lambert like, took over American Idol that year and it’s only the biggest singing competition on the planet…how does he NOT KNOW THAT???

Diiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaaa! Singing “Losing my Religion” by REM

Image: That sequined black dress looked amazing on her. She always looks amazing. I love her. Loved her waves too and the makeup was stunning.

She wants hand claps…love it.

Performance: I have always loved her sweet, velvety vocal.  The hand clapping was extremely effective as well. It makes those watching feel involved in the performance. My goodness, this young woman is brilliant.

Xtina’s commentary…she’s scared her team might not win. Clearly.

Casey Weston singing Whitney/Dolly’s “I Will Always Love You”…oh God this might suck….

Adam says don’t try to be Whitney…very good advice

Image: Loved the flowing overlay and I think because the dress was bi-level the boots kinda worked for me this time.

Performance: The start was a little shaky. I’m honestly not sure if this song suited her voice. It was a unique rendition but I just didn’t think it was as strong as her last performance.

Crazy Eyes says she’s freaking hot…eew. She’s only 18. Legal, but still, EW.

Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger” performance:

Adam looked sexy as hell in that suit

Xtina should have kept that jacket on…that shirt was super unflattering on her. At this point, I’m waiting for the pregnancy rumors to start…

The song was just okay. I only like one song by Maroon 5 anyway…

Beverly M singing BB King’s “The Thrill is Gone” (brilliant choice)

Image: She goes from looking like a Scotsman to an English colonial foot soldier. Whatever.

Performance: Stage set is very haunting. My God, her voice…chills. I really, really, really, loved it. Now I’m torn. If Dia doesn’t get it, Bev better.  That opening was just incredible.

Javier singing “Fix You” by Coldplay…I fucking hate Coldplay but I know he’s gonna make me love it.

Image: That hat is still glued on his head but then OH, it came off….that startled me a little…nice shaped head though.

Performance: I thought it was interesting they chose not to keep the song acoustic the whole time. I think slowing it down completely would have been more effective but whatevs, he had a perfect vocal once again.

They question him: Why did you take the hat off?

He answers:  I wanted to show America another side of me…and to let people know it’s not a freaking gimmick…the judges can’t get over it.

Blake’s Performance…whatever. I didn’t start paying attention until Dia showed up.

Xenia singing “I’m not Moving” by The Script

Image:  Gorgeous dress; I loved the print and the ruffles.

Performance: The slow song really suited her voice a lot better. She struggled a little in the beginning.  Overall, forgettable and a little boring.

Adam says he’s never heard that song either…I’m sorry, does this guy just not listen to the radio???? Isn’t that kind of a requirement given his profession???

Vicki Martinez singing “Dog Days are Over” by Florence + The Machine

Image: I like how she was doing push ups just before the commercial break…coolness.

The faux hawk was cool, loved the braids at the sides too.  I think I’ve actually done this look before…

Performance: Um…this is a sketchy song choice…Florence Welch’s vocal is really unique and impossible to replicate.  The drums were very cool. Her leaping around stage was cute.  Very memorable, she will get votes for sure.

The Final Four is only somewhat obvious: Vicci and Javier are shoe-ins; I am crossing my fingers for Dia.
