I like the fun vibe here a lot:

The colors were great

I’m seeing a lot more of the small printed sling bags, maybe because carrying a huge bag in 90+ degrees is a little too uncomfortable. I enjoyed the print on this one…

So cute and sunny :) Pink and blue are one of my favorite color combos for the summer. Loving the beachy waves too.

This will probably be a very long series… I took over 150 photos in the span of about 3-4 hours walking around the art fair today.
I’ll start with the wonderful creations I invested in:

This is a cute metal hair pin I found. It has multi-colored beads so I think it will match pretty much match anything. I also like the antique design.

This is a head band made out of a man’s necktie and some other re-used materials; more detail below:

The brilliant blue color caught my eye and I’m all about accessorizing right now…here’s a couple more accessories I picked up pictured together:

This is a beautifully made buttery soft, powder blue, small hobo bag (I know “buttery” is a cliche expression when describing leather but IT REALLY FEELS LIKE BUTTA BABY!). It measures 9”x9” with a 16 drop (adjustable) more detail on the bag below:
It is simple and functional and really well made; I had to have it. If I hadn’t spend so much on the other stuff I bought, I probably would have bought a bigger one but I think the smaller cross-body bags are coming back in…

This turquoise and silver spoon necklace was just wonderful to look at from every angel. It is made from an antique silver spoon from the 1930s. Detail below:

The artist used a diamond to create these intricate etchings, truly one of a kind. The necklace has about a 15-16” drop so I found it easy to add to my outfit for the day:

…love the turquoise against the red.
Finally, I got a couple clothing pieces:

A simple red and orange tie-dye halter; it’s cotton and cropped so I will be wearing it under my sheer stuff for a bright (REALLY BRIGHT) pop of color.
And finally:

I CAN’T GET ENOUGH SHEER. It is hands down, my favorite trend this season. I found this draped, flowing, red cover-up (like a poncho/shawl hybrid type garment). It’s such a light fabric that it can still be worn on hotter days either completely over the body or as a very sophisticated looking eternity scarf.
Really wonderful finds. I can’t wait to wear them with the rest of my wardrobe :)
